This research investigates the jurisprudential legitimacy of naming Imam Al-Mahdi (P.B.U.H) during the time of Occultation.
There is a group of narrations that announces the prohibition of naming Imam Al-Mahdi out of fear of harming him during his Occultation. It is acknowledged among scholars that the prohibition was limited to the time of Minor Occultation, but it seems that there are other narrations that claim this prohibition continues to the time of his Debut.
This research seeks to study the essence of those narrations and the reason behind that prohibition which is upheld to the day of Debut. Throughout the research, I present more details about those narrations and their sources.
